Power Button Galaxy S3

In the last few weeks I have noticed the power button on my S3 (Bought in Sept 2012) has become unresponsive. I first noticed that it was very sensitive, and would bring up the power menu at random times without being pressed at all. Now in the last week, it has not been working at all. What can I do to fix or remedy this? The phone has had normal use, been in a case since I purchased it.

Had same problem..turns out it was the case! After a few days of no case..phone went back to normal. This isnt uncommon with s3s and cases. Of course verizon has no idea of this.
