My signal bars are never above 3....even w/ Network Extender

I have yet to see above 3 bars on the signal strength...even when I'm next to the network extender.....call quality good no matter where I'm at here in a city in the Midwest..... so why would I never see all the bars, can't tell if there are 5 or 6. thanks.

I am concerned you're not able to see above 3 bars of signal strength on your device. To clarify, are you using the network extender when you see this issue? If you are, your signal is going through the network extender and not directly through a tower. Have you tried a soft reset? Give this a try to see if you can get more bars of signal strength.
