Droid X Contacts

Does anyone know how to assign a picture to a contact on the Droid X?  I have pics of my firends on the phone and I'd like to assign it to their contact info, if possible.  Just can't seem to figure this out.  It took me a long time just to figure out how to edit contacts. 

 

 Big learning curve on this phone having never been a smartphone user before.

Go into gallery and long hold the pic for options then pick "set as"contacts...pick a contact....move the sqaure box over the face and then save.. To remove the pic..touch the contact..hit menu(hard key) press edit.. long hold pic and select remove..then save
