How long after it is in the inventory system does it usually take to launch?
There really is no set time, a phone can be released the very next day after FCC approval. Typically 3 weeks. Most sites are saying that the Incredible should launch the same time as Nexus One, or possibly a week earlier.

I did contact a couple of Best Buy locations this morning because they typically offer pre-ordering of mobile phones prior to launch (2-3 weeks prior) - just to see if anything has hit their system yet. They didn't hesitate at the mentioning of the Incredible and just said "I am sorry, but we are not able to pre-order that model at this time."

I hear that. Mine came up Feb. 20th and I'm hoping I don't have to wait too much longer.
