Not possible.
You could tell your contacts to just input your email address in the to field of the text while you are away and then they will go to your email. Then when you get home tell them to just text to your phone again.
To text back to Verizon cell phones from your email use your10digitnumber@vztext.com or vzwpic.com if you want to attach a photo. For other carriers you would have to find the address but most can be found in a google search as I have sent to someone on AT&T from my email. Mary
