Any timeline on getting the Android 4.3 update?
Sometime in the next six months, maybe?
I like to just say when it's ready. After all I hate to rush it and then have bugs.....
VZW will add those when they get it just before they update our S4's about the way they did with the S3's a few weeks ago and then it takes them weeks to fix it.
Hello NewbieSpamGreat question! I don't have any news about that update yet. Check here frequently for news:SincerelyJoeL_VZWFollow us on Twitter @VZWSupport

Google appears to have ..tonight..hit the button on the Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean MR2) update for the HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Play edition phones. I (only).
The update is around 150 MB for the SGS4
This comes immediately after both HTC and Samsung released their Android 4.3 kernel sources online. Seems as though Google made good on its promise for speedy updates to the Google Play edition phones...
NOW the VZW versions will be probably coming sooner now, than later.
Its up to Samsung ..to get things right with the carrier..and VZW will not cut it loose until all parameters are run and ready for the OTA release.
Its not that simple as it was once back in the 2.1 and 1x radios days.

Did they send out this update for the Samsung Galaxy S3? Mine is still operating on the 4.1.2, but has been acting weird lately. How do I get the update?
Is there a 4.3 update for my Samsung Galaxy S3?
4.3 has not been released for Verizon's S3 yet. They are once again the last carrier to give out the update.
Thanks. Any ideas of when they might?
I have been wondering this and asking this in several forums. There's no answer, there's no information, there's no knowledge,etc... It's getting really old! Black Friday has come and gone and I was even considering the Galaxy Gear watch, but I can't use it with my current configuration. I am looking at other phone companies and other android phones now as Verizon has dropped the ball and not helped the situation by remaining quiet. Please, if anyone has any good, useful information, post and/or direct us to it as this issue is old and ongoing while the other phone companies have updated the Galaxy S3 with no issues reported.
