Incredible 2 will not mount as disk drive. Solutions?

For some reason, my phone is not being recognized so that I can retrieve pictures.

*My default connection type is disk drive. I have it set to ask me about USB connection whenever I connect my phone, but it does not ask me.

*I have tried using 3 different USB cables.

*I have tried restarting both my phone, and my computer and no luck.

*I have tried unmounting and then remounting my SD card.

I did not ever have this problem before, unless I accidentally had the connection set to charge only. Any suggestions on how to get my computer to recognize the phone as a disk drive?

We want you to be able to enjoy all those important pictures smezzo! Have you tested the handset on a different computer? How about another handset on your existing computer? As an additional option, how about using just the memory card itself via a card reader? Please be aware our control may be limited with third party equipment involved.
