Galaxy S3 won't call

I updated my Galaxy S3 yesterday morning. I actually didn't notice any issues yesterday but today my phone has stopped receiving or sending calls. I can text and my internet works? But I can't actually talk to anyone. I love all the options phones now have, but it doesn't really matter if I can't actually talk on the phone with anyone. Anyone seeing this issue? And if so, how should I fix it?

I can manually make a call with mine but I cannot make a call with the Bluetooth at all. It also does not announce the name or number of the person calling in even when they are in the contact list. So many other problems too. Verizon, give us the "old" OS as a new update so we can "update to the previous version" as a way to get back to the old update while you guys fix the probems the 4.3 update caused!

Lets get that phone to make calls again, Evanspa3! Lets start off by removing the sim card and placing it back in. Test out and let us know how it goes.

I actually visited a Verizon store on Saturday morning. First of all, the employee who helped me acted like she was totally shocked that there was an issue with the Samsung phones, even though she later admitted she had a Samsung S4 and had a few issues too (battery). I would hope that Verizon is ensuring that their stores are aware of the majors issues with this update so that they are prepared. She (along with others working there) did try to help, but nothing worked. They tried a new sim card and doing a hard reset, but it still does not place or receive phone calls. I also now notice that it won't connect to the Play Store. They ordered a replacement phone for me, which will be here on Tuesday. So, in the end, this Samsung/Verizon update has cost me a phone that was in perfect working condition. I can only hope that the replacement will be in good condition too.
