I can not get system updates to install on my phone. I am currently running Android Ver. 2.3.4.
Have you tried replacing your SIM card? I've read where some folks were successful in receiving updates after replacing theirs. They are free at your local Corporate Verizon store.
While he's at the Store he might see if they'll Flash the phone that's GingerBread on there Tiki he might have a tuff time pushing it on there) but the Flash might help..
