GS3 reception vs iphone 4

I purchase my GS3 after my last trip to my hunting camp last year. Over the last couple of months I have been to my camp and noticed I do not get the same quality of service if any service at all. Where I would last year. Can't even make phone calls in places i could before. Is this a common problem?

I checked my resources and I see that Bernice has variable coverage. This means that service is challenging in that area due to distance from nearest towers, terrain and other factor out of our control. Service will be spotty and even more challenging while indoors due to structural interference. If you visit this area often and need to improve you indoor service we recommend the Network Extender http://bit.ly/AKkC as other customers confirm great indoor service improvement with it in that area. I also recommend reprogramming your phone by removing the SIM card http://bit.ly/TMHSVi for one minute.

My zip code is 70592 the area I am having trouble in is in zip code 71222. I am a good ways outside of the town. Everyone else has ATT and has not problems with service..
