My son bought himself a Samsung Galaxy s4. He had it for 4 days and the screen broke. It was in his pocket but he was not sitting on it. What are my options? Can I return it? Can he exchange it?
Unfortunately, I would be truly surprised if VZW or Samsung gives you any type of relief. With a 5" screen, this phone should never be carried in a pocket (even not seated) as it subjects it to too much stress from end to end and diagonally. Your best option is to deal with Samsung repair. I had my S3 screen completely replace for around $130.
