My SMS replies are not the same phone number sent to. Need fixes!!!

Here is an example,

Sent a text to cell number 1234565 (my wife) and she will received the text without any problem. However, when she reply to my text, i will received her reply as new text message (i.e. 123456@vtext.com). I checked both our phone address books and cannot find any address with @VTEXT.com. I also added the vtext address into my wife address book and same issue. Once in a while, I will receive the reply correctly.

I cannot figure out why this is happening. Started happening after we both upgraded our phones to Samsung S4. Any help will be great...

Vtext is a messaging service from VZW. If you type Vtext into the search box at the top right of this page you should find all the necessary information about it and also how to opt out.
