Is the Galaxy note 3 compatible with a generic charger?

I'd like to use the charger from my old Droid to charge My Samsung Galaxy Note 3 which is USB 3.0 vs USB 2.0. Any issues

It should work, although it won't charge as fast as the OEM charger.
