Hello
My contacts are not there. The past numbers are there but the associated names are not. It is telling me that the messaging is not working and that contacts cant be found. What do I do. I can't make a phone call.

First off what phone is it?
if contacts are in gmail, check "sync" contacts.
Most likely they are stored in Backup Assistant as Verizon sets that to the default which is a disaster.
Let's find your contacts smudgie1092! What was the last action taken on your phone before the issue? Did you install an application that required access to your address book? Did you do make any changes to the address book settings? I understand that you have a Galaxy S3; did you have Backup Assistant or Verizon Cloud enabled before the contacts went missing?
