If my phone is broke and I have a old verizon phone, is there a charge to activate it until eligible for new phone?
No, you should be able to activate it online. I never got charged to do this unless they changed it recently.
I just bought a used older basic phone for my husband and had no trouble activating it, no charge to do so. I just did *228 from the new phone. Mary
