My defalut verizon/android text message always has "1" on the orange background on the home screen widget, signaling there is one unread message, even when there are none; i tried removing the widget from the screen and turning off everything in settings and restarting, then turning the notificationsa and auto retrieval back on, but the orange "1" came right back.
