After this lousy update that screwed up everyone's phones I noticed even with the screen brightness turned ALLLL the way down it is still a heck of a lot brighter than before the update. That is a major drain on the battery, not to mention all the garbage from Samsung and Google draining the battery even with restricted data checked for all of it. Did the hard reset, did the safe mode, cleared partition cache I did ever single waste of time fix told to me from Samsung and Verizon. Spoke to Samsung who refuses to admit there ANYTHING wrong at all even after I read them their official statement. They still deny any problems. I think I will just sell off all Samsung electronics and shares of Samsung. They seem to not value their customers and this isn't the first or last time Samsung will pull this move. Other companies are more than happy to take a hit in order to preserve their reputation. A perfect example is Toyota and how much they had to spend to fix all the problems they had a few years ago. They spent close to a billion dollars and that is a big hit but the retained loyal customers and still have a strong following. Samsung and Verizon seem to want to push customers away and never have them return. I wonder how in the business world that makes for a sound practice? There has to be a way to stop this excessive battery drain. It was poor before and now I get about 2 -4 hours a day on my phone. Been charging it with it turned off and it is not even at 80% in 4 hours. Funny thing is it is a new battery and not an aftermarket so I KNOW it is the phone. Why is Verizon and Samsung being such jerks about doing right by the customer?
