I've had this deveice less than a month.
It replaced my recently drowned droid bionic.
Can anyone help?
Not sure if this is settings related or not...
If you are operating on 3G, this is to be expected. If you are connected to wifi or 4G, you should have no issue doing both simultaneously.

My old phone would switch from 3g to 4g based on coverage area (I'm in
Hawaii)... Since I got this phone I haven't seen it cycle to 4g at all.
I may have to check with Verizon to see why this phone doesn't go to 4g.
