Galaxy S4 Mini Deleting Pictures?

My s4 has begun deleting pictures. I bought a new sd card for my pictures after the first time it stopped working and was able to recover my pictures, but now it has done it again. All the pictures I took when I first bought the phone are gone, but the newest ones (within the past month) are still there.

Why is it deleting pictures?

Is it a software problem, do I need to do something, did I hit something, what is the problem/have other people been experiencing this problem?

That is definitely strange, cnovogradac. We're here to help out! Are the photos saved in the SD card also deleting, or is it only photos saved via your phones internal memory? Also are these photos that are taken with your phones original camera app?

I first had the problem when the new software update happened, and my sd card was wiped completey. I went to the store and bought an adapter and new card and was able to copy the pictures onto the new card.

Now, pictures I took when I got the phone are gone, but only those pictures. Recent pictures are still there. They have only been taken with the original camera app.

None of the pictures from my older phones are deleted.

I have the phones default method of saving to my sd card.

cvonogradac, we can understand the importance of photos and memories. If you plug your phone into the computer or put SD card into computer does it see the older photos that are not seeing on the device?
