Will we ever see Verizon Messages for WP8/8.1? It's the lone thing that I miss from my Android device.
Good luck with that. VZW coding monkeys haven't even updated their Visual Voice Mail app since 9/2013. You still cannot save voice mails to the device and the quality of audio is worse than cassette recordings.
There isn't even a Fios app either.
Seems like this is now on the new HTC. Not sure if it's the default messaging app or an add-on, but I'm guessing it may one day be released to the general public.
Not sure what's up with FiOS app.
WP's market share is too low (and shrinking still) for Verizon to dedicate any resources to coding the FiOS app for WP. Same thing for Visual Voicemail. WP is looooow on the priority list for Verizon in case you haven't been paying attention. :smileyhappy:
Well, it's not a low priority for AT&T as they have already released Cyan update for 4 phones. Verizon is only concerned with making sales on their new HTC One M8 for Windows phone as they were under the impression that this kick-a55 phone was going to be a Verizon exclusive. However, HTC decided to not abide by that agreement and is giving the phone to AT&T as well. How does it feel to be SCREWED Verizon? Ha ha ha! Now where is the Cyan update for my Icon?!
Visual VM on the GSM carriers use the built in Visual VM software that comes with WP8/8.1, the issue is why is it that the CDMA carriers which includes Verizon have chosen the route of using an inferior APP for Visual VM?
