I can't quite pin down why. My phone will "Just Switch" to silent / vibrate mode whenever it feels like it. I have to press the volume up button to get it back. Is there something I'm missing or is this a known issue?

May I ask have you adjusted the volume/silent mode under settings on the device & by using the buttons on the device? Has there been any physical or liquid damage on the device?
