new g2 wont activate.

Just got my g2. went to activate using the pre installed sim and it basically does nothing. sits on the waiting to activate screen

i saw in another thread people mentioned it only working with the new sim card that verizon provided.in the order.

which would be great except for you didn't send me one like the order stated. i got the tracking number for the sim and it was the same as the phone.

signed for 1 package and it says both are delivered.

wondering where the sim is or what my next step is to get this thing activated.(would prefer to not deal with any of your in store "techs")

The SIM is in the phone. That's why it's called pre-installed. I just used my old SIM.

Is there a credit card sized orange and white card in the box?

It has a SIM card to be carefully punched out and inserted.

Have you checked the sim tray?

I got one of these phones last month. I'm telling you it's in the SIM slot already which is on the upper left hand side of the phone.

Yes if it's a new phone the sim is already installed in the tray. You might need to call Verizon to activate it.
