According to the Verizon Cloud web page, my S5 does not support syncing my contacts? Why not?
Sync your contacts with the Gmail account. Works much better than the Verizon backup ever could.

As Ann indicated Google is whole lot better than the Cloud, Cloud services can be set to Off were they won't interfere with Google I've had my phone set to Google for Years..
I am having problems with contacts sync. Some of my contacts are in GMAIL and sync with the phone. But others were sent to me and ended up flagged with the phone rather than Google account. I cannot get these to sync. Is there away to get them to sync to google or to flag them with google rather than the phone so they will SYNC?
Sorry about the trouble syncing your contacts, tns_2. If you log in using your mobile number as the username at www.vzw.com/cloud and select "Already a Verizon Cloud user? Manage your content on the web" do you see those missing contacts? What happens when you are trying to sync on your phone using Verizon Cloud?
