I just got the Note 3 last week. I've found that Google Wallet currently will not work with my phone. I can download the app and even setup various credit cards, but the Tap and Pay is disabled. ??? This is one of the latest and greatest phones out there. From what I've read the Note 2 works with this program. Previously I had the Nexus 4 and used Google Wallet often and without issue. I've read conflicting issues as to why it doesn't work on this new Note 3. Other than that app, this phone is excellent.
I don't like the Isis app because it doesn't support any of the cards I use. I don't have American Express and I don't have a Chase card. I have Visa and Mastercard debit cards linked to my Huntington bank, but those can't be used. I'm not interested in preloading some Isis card to enable the app to work. That's what I loved about Google Wallet - it worked with whatever card you want, along with a direct link to your bank account if you choose, whichever bank that may be. There were no limitations.
