I tried soft reboot, no luck. I have been able to finally turn it off...not sure how or why. Been off for an hour now. Tried turning on and it does the same thing over and over. Help please.
Try to clean the cache partition. There are many posts on how to do it, or you can Google it. It has to be done when the phone is off. It should help.

yes, and I went to Verizon. they could not fix it either. I had to get a
new one.
