I could not wait to get the S5 as my S3 was on it's last leg. I've had the new phone for about 2 1/2 weeks now and noticed I am on 3G more often than 4G. I know there are areas where the service is not that great but I definitely had 4G more often on my S3. I spoke with Verizon and they updated my network and confirmed there were no issues in my area.
The tech provided me with the number to contact Samsung directly to check if they have reports with this model. I just wanted to throw this question out there to see if anyone else was experiencing the same problem.
