How dod I retrieve voice messages when overseas? When I tried, I only got a playback of my greeting.
wi-fi won't pickup messages.
I don’t understand. Should I shut off the WiFi in order to retrieve voice messages? I did not have this problem with my iPhone.
see if turning off wi-fi allows messages to come in, if yes, understand that wi-fi doesn't have the same capabilities as the network.

i have an old droid x that i use as a music device at the gym.
it's not activated but i can connect to wi-fi/home/unsecured, use internet, maps, update apps but not os & can't make phone calls nor recieve voice messages.
