MMS charges?!?

I just switched to a single line plan with unlimited talk and text. Why am I being charged per use for MMS when my plan is supposed to have unlimted text?  I downgraded from a plan that had unlimited data and FREE MMS, so I am quite perterbed about this.  What's the deal Verizon?
