I have same problem with a Samsung Galaxy 4, spent 3+ hours with Verizon today and they say problem is not with phone but that doesn't help me. I would like to use wifi at home and not use data time. I have two home networks and phone doesn't find one of them when scanning.
Did Factory reset and it didn't help. 2nd tier support said call Samsung???
This phone has done this since October of last year(Purchase Date), sometimes it works correctly, especially at the Verizon store.
My Motorola phone and LG phone never had this problem, just since upgrading to S4 last year.
