I recently switched over to the verizon network about 4 months ago because the representatives promised me that i would get much better service and reception that i did with my previous mobile service provider. I have now spent 4 months of nonstop fighting to even get one bar of service on my Galaxy S4 and i can forget over pulling in 4G LTE. I live in rural 62418. The verizon wireless service coverage map says that my exactly location should at least be covered by 4g service. My family, which all uses different carriers can pull in good reception all the time. I cannot even get enough to make a call. I have tried talking to verizon support and all they tell me to do is to restart the phone, and to take the sim card in and out. That does not do anything for me. Why should i be paying almost $100 per month for a service that verizon says i should get, but i cant even come close to. Making me wish i woulda stuck with AT&T. Network extender will do no good for me because the reception is just as bad outside as it is inside. Why is my phone getting such bad reception?? other Verizon customers around me with different phones get decent reception. Whats going on Verizon?!? Id like some valuabe information.
