Will this phone still work?

My mom lost her phone, untill she gets another one can she use her old prepaid one? The pmt date is from 2010 and there is no balance on it. Can she just add minutes to it and use it or will there be a reactivation fee for it? In that case would it be better to just get a new prepaid one?

Is she interested in activated the phone pre-paid phone on a post paid account? In the event she is looking to activate a pre-paid device on a post paid account, the pre-paid device must have been active for at least six months.
