While exploring my new galaxy s5, i enabled watchon, although it couldn't control my 25 year old TV(!), so not useful. Now I'm stuck with watchon on my lockscreen and i don't know how to remove it. How can I get rid of watchon from my lockscreen?
[answering my own question]:
after seeing https://community.verizonwireless.com/message/1075007#1075007
I went to apps->smart remote->connect->menu(is that what we call the three vertical dots?)->settings and unchecked the 'auto display remote control on lock screen'.
That did the trick.
go back into settings & un-select it, then select what you want.
OK, so I tap apps, then settings, then lockscreen, now i see:
screen security:
screen lock
swipe options:
dual clock
clock size
show date
camera shortcut
owner information
unlock effect
additional information
help text
I don't see watchon anywhere. Is there somewhere else in settings i should be looking?
