MY LG Revere will not turn on - I assumed the battery was dead, plugged in the charger and nothing will happen. Please help - I am out of work and job hunting - it's my primary number.

Yes! We can absolutely help! I know it's been a couple days. Have you been able to get it to turn on? If not, do you have another charger to try? It may simply be that the charger is not working properly.
