Why isn't my screen timeout working?

Just started the other day.

Gone thru everything looking for anything but notta!

Anyone have an idea?

Set your Time out, Hit the home button then Power off the phone then power back on the phone if this last suggestion doesn't work then power cycle your S4 then your screen should time out..
