After my phone upgraded to Kit Kat the original charger as well as all other chargers I tried were suddenly incompatible. I have seen this issue in many other forums as well. I have tried the following with no luck:
Removed the battery
Used my spare battery
Tried multiple chargers
Tried booting in safe mode
Tried booting with the phone plugged in
Tried booting with the phone plugged in while in safe mode
Tried clearing all my appication caches
Removed all unnecessary apps
Nothing has worked. The phone has not gotten wet. As I mentioned it started after it upgraded. Has anyone successfully solved this issue?
