I have recently purchased a Droid Maxx 2 weeks ago. I have been receiving the "unfortunately, messaging has stopped working" message. I took my phone to the store that I purchased it at, and they had no clue why I was receiving the message. They called my phone "DOA" and gave me a brand new one. Later that night, my phone did a system upgrade. I did not chose to do this, it automatically did it. Ever since that upgrade, I have not received about 80% off the messages that people tell me they sent. I do not get any messages that have pictures, in group messages, or if someone starts the conversation. Why is this happening and what is the fix? If I am going to pay $499 for a brand new phone, I expect it to work.
