unable to call out

I noticed today that my galaxy will not connect when calling out. It has good service connection and will send texts, and I can receive calls, but it just keeps saying "dialing" when trying to make calls. Anyone have any suggestions on how to remedy this?

Hello kornari!

That's a little unusual. I want to make sure this gets fixed for you. When did you start having issues with calling? How long have you had your phone? One step to try first is to remove & reinsert the SIM card in your phone.

It has pretty much had the issue since I received the phone early in May. My phone's signal bar will fluctuate rapidly and it is frequently unable to send or receive calls in areas where other verizon phones (my whole family has verizon) are all getting perfect service.

I took it in to the store I bought the phone from, and the representative I spoke with there said she thought it might be a problem with my antenna.

If it were me, I would go back to the store and have them try a new SIM card in the phone.

I live in 45410, and it does happen both indoors and out. I have had it happen both sitting in my apartment or in my office building, as well as outside while walking or sitting out on the porch.

Well after several trips to several different Verizon locations, we've determined that it is not the SIM card (new one installed, was able to get a call while in the store but after I left the problem continued), nor is it the Network Settings (Tech switched me from Global to LTE/CDMA, same as the other store it would receive calls but after leaving the problems persisted).

A lady I spoke with at one store said that she thinks the problem is the antenna is bad, and recommended a replacement.

Call in on another phone and have them reregister the device to the network.
