Wireless charger will not work with Samsung Galaxy S3

My phone stopped wanting to charge one day a few weeks ago with no warning. It has a very good case on it and I have not dropped it. I tried my mother's new extended battery for her S3 and her charger and it still wouldn't charge. I figured the charging port must be broke so I decided to invest in wireless charging. I found a QI wireless charger on Ebay and bought it fairly cheap. Well it worked for one day and then it stopped. Now it says it is charging, but the battery percentage keeps dropping as if it is not charging at all. I bought a new battery, but that has not helped at all. I would like to know if this is a problem with the phone or a problem with the charger. Can anyone help me?

It's so important to have a device that charges for you! I'm not able to comment on the wireless charging pad, since it wasn't purchased from Verizon Wireless. However, I can comment on the device and the charger. Since you tried a different charger and it didn't work for you, that would tend to make me think it's the charging port in the device. This is not covered by the warranty, so I first wanted to ask if you have insurance on the device? Have you checked the charging port for any debris (maybe dust or lint) that may cause this? When looking at the charging port, do you notice anything bent or discolored?
