Forgot my 4-digit account security code. How do I reset it?

The only option I've found requires my old code, which, of course, I've forgotten... The person answering another question about this seemed to be confusing the 4-digit code with My Verizon account passwords. This is not about my online password, but about my 4-digit account security code, which I need in order to make payments from my phone. My online account hasn't been letting me make payments for whatever reason. (Any help with that would also be great!)

I will very much appreciate any help I can get regarding these issues. Thank you!
