I pretty much have the same opinion as others about the kitkat update. NOT happy with it at all. How do you get the phone to quit announcing calls? I've gone to phone/settings/caller ID readout is set to 'ring only'. HELP! I AM FRUSTRATED!
Hello bronaud!I'm sorry you're having issues with the Call announcement. Please make sure your device is not in driving mode, as this will announce calls as well. @bronaud,Let's get to the bottom of this! Did the call announcements start right after the software update? Go back to Caller ID readout and turn it on and off again. Power the phone off and retest. Keep me posted if the issues persist.JohnB_VZWFollow us on Twitter @VZWSupport
Did all that and still having issues...plus, my battery life is horrible now which is the main reason I bought this phone!
