I can start up their data plan, which is very economical when compared to the Verizon Global plan. Everything works fine. I can surf, and even use Skype. However, I cannot get the WIFI Hotspot, USB or BlueTooth tethering to open up. It goes off to validate the subscription and returns a "validation error".
Since I am not using the Verizon plan why would the phone be checking this?
