LG Cosmos 3 Black Screen

My daughter recently tried to clean her screen with her finger and when she pushed on it the screen went black and has not come back yet.  We have tried to restart the device and pull the battery, but nothing has changed.  Is her screen dead?  Please advise.

I am sad to hear about your daughters phone beastlymaster! The screen on the LG Cosmos 3 if pretty strong. It sounds like she may have pressed a little to hard.
