Work wifi not connecting

I work for Kaleida health in Buffalo NY. I just got my Galaxy S5 yesterday after a long run with the S2. My S5 won't connect to my jobs wifi. It will show the network and save it. When I go to connect, it doesn't and the screen to authenticate that would automatically come up on my S2 that will show me the terms for the usage of my Jobs wifi and whether to accept and decline never comes up. I have no clue what to do. I have a coworker that recently got the S4 with T-mobile and the same thing with her phone. Its ridiculous and I don't think she ever got the issue resolved. Is there any solution to this problem???

Congrats on the new S5! It's a great device. Now lets review your concern so you can fully utilize your device while at work. If you head into Google Crome > Settings > Advanced > Content Settings. I would suggest temporarily unblocking pop ups and retesting. I would imagine the terms would pop up in this browser for you to accept.

Does your employer have an IT team that you're also able to work with?

Hello, the I.T. team was the first thought before I posted my comment on here and they were no help. Basically saying I should be able to connect with no problem. Still I tried allowing pop ups in my browser and still nothing. the wifi shows saved, I tap it to connect, it acts like its going to and goes back to the screen just showing it is saved but not connected. Just frustrating and again I'm not the only one with the issue for the s4 and s5. Ill try the I.T. team again but any other suggestions would greatly be appreciated. I really hate to use my data at work if I don't have to.

We do not want you to have to use your data at work if not necessary either. Lets check into getting your WiFi connected. Does you job have a virtual private network (VPN)? If so, you will need to add the VPN to your device so it can recognize it. Go to Settings>More Networks>VPN>Basic VPN or Advanced IPsec VPN. Your job will have the information on which VPN type. Let us know if this helps.

I also work for a health care facility. Recently our IT department changed the way we connect to our WiFi. After you connect to the WiFi we sometimes have to go to the hospitals web page. A pop up will open and just follow the prompts and we're connected. It's a bit annoying but it's free.

And no this did not help. There is no VPN. just open wifi
