AOL sync problems

Starting 8/11/14 at 7:29 AM my AOL (POP3server SSL neither has changed) account will not sync. All sync controls are selected (Master, Mobile and Wi-Fi auto sync enabled, etc). However, going to settings; under accounts, selecting email, is says that the AOL email address was synced on 8/14/14 2:25 PM (10 minutes ago)!

When I manually sync (within the AOL application), the sync ICON rotates for 2 seconds, but nothing is downloaded and the last update date stays at 8/11/14 7:29 AM.

running 4.4.2

Any suggestions?

I deleted AOL and reinstalled it. That seems to have fixed it. Thanks, Ed.
