can't send mms unless I'm on mobile data

I am mainly on my wifi at home and if I want to send or receive an mms message I have to turn on mobile data. I had the rezound before this phone and it would do it automatically. Is there a way to do it automatically on my note 3 without having to turn my mobile data on?

MMS requires a mobile data connection to send/receive unless you are using Verizon Messages.

I will also say that I am using whatever messaging app that came on the phone.

Is there a way to just make it send over mobile Web automatically without me having to turn it on every time?

Yeah go to link that tiki gave click on Web app sign in and you can send from there I just tested mm worked fine from online site using vz messages
