Verizon crapware killed my microphone

Some combination of verizon crapware prevented the primary microphone on my LG G2 from working at all. This occurred some time after the kitkat ota update. Took me days to figure out verizon was the problem. Looks like it is some combination of their garbage software, and not just one particular app. VERIZON (removed).

Please try putting your phone in Safe Mode http://vz.to/1pC4ADU to disable all 3rd party apps and then test it out.
