How to I change speaker phone output?

Question

So I have an 8X HTC windows phone, and whenever I make or receive a call, the speaker seems to be continually on speaker phone, even though speaker phone isn't selected. How do I make it so that everyone in the room can't hear the other side of my conversations?

Hi,

I actually went into a Verizon store, and they were able to fix it by

doing a soft-reboot of the phone. That fixed the issue. Thanks!
