Connecting to ford sync

I cannot connect S4 Mini with Ford Sync. I have deleted all devices from Ford. S4 mini locates multiple Bluetooth devices in the neighborhood but does not connect to Sync. 2013 F250 with standard radio. Worked fine with basic phones, but won't connect to S4 mini.

y luck with 2010 Nissan Murano is no better. Maybe if I can get guidance to connect to Ford I can use the information to connect to Nissan.

Thanks for sharing your concern stefspokane, and we want to make sure this is working. I checked and the Galaxy S4 is compatible with Ford Sync, so the S4 mini should be as well. Have you tried connecting your phone to any other Bluetooth devices like a headset, etc? Are you able to search for the phone via the car?

Thanks for the quick response. I have tried connecting to the Ford F250 and Nissan Murano. The phone finds other bluetooth devices, but I have not attempted to connect as they are not our devices.

I will try connecting to our Panasonic cordless phones this evening.

The Galaxy S4 Mini seems to be able to detect and connect to other Bluetooth devices. It will not connect with Sync. I will have to contact Ford it appears.

Haven’t tried Nissan again, but will try this weekend.
