You're obviously being flooded with questions regarding the update the was pushed recently. Any idea how I can reestablish the two things noted above? It kind of defeats the purpose of having a phone if neither of these work...
Have you tried resetting your SIM card by turning off the phone, removing the SIM card (be careful not to touch the gold contacts), waiting a minute or so, then reinserting the SIM card, turning the phone back on, and allowing it time to re-establish a fresh network connection?
