My girlfriend and I used to be with Carolina West Wireless which is a local regional carrier. We got fine data signal in town. Since we've switched to Verizon (which uses the same towers), neither one of us has data in town. We have different phones. She has an s4 and I have a note 3. 3g signal is lit up on both of our phones, but when we try to use it, its like we have no data connection. Apps nor internet hardly ever work, and in the rare case that they do, they are extremely slow. This isn't a once or twice thing. This is nearly every time. I've restarted both phones numerous times and removed the sim cards. One time in particular, I reset the sim card to update the towers in the s4 while still in town, and it seemed to work better in that instance. But the very next day, it was the same story as before.
